The Clinton County Solid Waste Management District offers a number of educational programs ranging from school and community presentations to various contests for local children. To obtain information about these programs, click on one of the specific items listed below.
- 2008 Earth Day Poster Contest - The SWMD is once again hosting this annual competition for Clinton County students in grades 1-5. Winners will be presented with various prizes at a special awards ceremony and have their artwork published in a calendar.

- Free Beverage Recycling Bins Available to Local Schools - Is your school interested in recycling plastic beverage bottles and aluminum cans? Find out how to obtain free containers for your school.

Request Portable Recycling Barn - This 8’X4’ portable structure, shaped like a miniature barn, can be placed at the site of your school's or organization's next event for the purpose of providing individuals with a way to recycle various materials.
