How do I report suspected child abuse and neglect?

Ø    Call 937-382-2449 twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  You may report anonymously.

Ø    Have the child’s basic information written down and in front of you.

Ø    Provide the report line worker with as much information as possible such as complete address, child’s name and present location, parents’ names, siblings’ names.

Ø    Express your concerns to the report line worker.  Tell them why you are calling.

Ø    Be prepared!

Ø    Remember, when you report suspected child abuse and neglect, your name is confidential and will not be given to the family.
