The Child Support Enforcement Agency, or CSEA, was created by State law on January 1, 1988 and operates in every Ohio county. In Clinton County, the CSEA operates under the administration of the County Department of Job & Family Services.
The CSEA is a IVD (4D) agency. IVD stands for the Title IVD of the Social Security Act of 1974. This is the legislation that set up the State Child Support collection program.
The mission of the Clinton County Child Support Enforcement Agency is to provide assistance to our clients by establishing parentage, setting support orders, along with the enforcement and collection of support payments to enhance the economic security of the children and families we serve.
